Digital foot analysis (pedography) in our practice for orthopaedics in Munich Laim

A foot analysis or pedography is a computer-aided measurement of the feet, which is carried out statically when standing as a foot pressure measurement or dynamically in motion as a gait analysis. Pedography is used to optimise the adaptation of orthopaedic insoles and shoe dressings.

By precisely recording the force distribution under the feet, foot function and body posture are analysed and assessed.

Indications:

  • Foot misalignments (e.g. spread foot, bent foot, flat foot, pointed foot, hollow foot)
  • Hallux valgus (deviation of the big toe)
  • Hallux rigidus (big toe arthrosis)
  • Diabetic foot
  • Rheumatic diseases in the area of the feet
  • Therapy control after operations
  • Incorrect loads
  • Non-specific orthopaedic changes
